WR organises 6th annual conference of Indian Railway orthopedic surgeons

Ratlam : The 6th annual conference of Indian Railway Orthopedic Surgeons was inaugurated in the guest-ship of the director general of rail health services Dr PS Prasad. 12 orthopedic doctors from various railway zones and 25 from nearby cities took part in this conference. The conference was organised by the divisional hospital of Ratlam by the efforts of Malwa Orthopedic Society.

In this event, all the orators including Dr Nitin Jain, Dr Aseem Negi and Dr Vipin Maheshwari, talked about locking plate and its various characteristics. They further performed operation on four workstations by realistic equipments on the bone models due which all the doctors got to know about the new equipments.

The director general praised the event and also talked about the less numbers of doctors in railway hospitals. He also declared prizes worth rupees 15000 during the event. Dr Anil Kumar was present as the chief patron. The director general inspected the hospital and he conversed with all the patients admitted and appreciated the work of the hospital.

 After this, the director general also inspected the health center of Ujjain and talked to the staff for providing better treatments. He inspected the ARME-I and appreciated the system there, and awarded rupees 3000 for betterment.
