Ashoknagar (Madhya Pradesh): A controversy has erupted in Madhya Pradesh’s Ashoknagar district after alleged offensive remarks were made by District Panchayat CEO Rajesh Jain against public representatives.
A video has surfaced showing BJP MLA Jagannath Singh Raghuwanshi expressing anger on a video call, stating, “If anyone speaks against our MP Scindia ji, we will sever their tongue.”
The MLA alleged that during a review meeting, CEO Rajesh Jain placed a phone call on the speaker and used disrespectful language towards MPs and MLAs. "This is an insult to public representatives and will not be tolerated under any circumstances," said Raghuwanshi. He also demanded strict action against the CEO.
He further revealed that he had met with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav regarding the issue.

According to the MLA, the CM took the matter seriously and instructed the Chief Secretary to take necessary action.
The incident is said to have taken place on Monday during a meeting of Panchayat Secretaries and Employment Assistants at Isagarh Janpad. SDM and Janpad CEO were also present. During the meeting, District Panchayat CEO Rajesh Jain called the Janpad CEO and asked to put the call on speaker.
Panchayat Secretary Bhagwan Singh Yadav alleged that during the call, CEO Jain used abusive language and said, “Even if someone is a representative of an MP or MLA, they will be beaten with shoes.”
Outraged by the remarks, the Panchayat Secretaries and Employment Assistants walked out of the meeting in protest.
Following the incident, MLA Raghuwanshi wrote a letter to the Chief Minister and later met him in person to demand action against the CEO.
