Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A police constable jumped onto a moving car to stop five criminals fleeing after looting him on Tuesday in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior. The miscreants dragged him on the bonnet for nearly a kilometer before he managed to jump off.
A video of the same has surfaced on social media and has gone viral. Taking cognizance of the matter, police launched an alert and set up checkpoints. Two of the accused were caught at the Nirawali point on Morena Road, while three others escaped. Interrogations are underway.

According to information, Narendra, a havildar and driver of CSP Laskar Manish Yadav, was off-duty and withdrawing cash at a Central Bank ATM near Chandra Badni Naka. Five youths trapped him inside the ATM booth, overpowered him, and stole ₹10,000 in cash and his debit card. The attackers later withdrew ₹20,000 more using his ATM card.
Determined to catch them, Narendra chased the accused and managed to leap onto their getaway car. Despite his efforts, the criminals continued driving with him clinging to the bonnet. When the car slowed at a crossing, he jumped off and, with the help of bystanders, continued the chase.

Police Investigation
The police immediately launched an alert and set up checkpoints across the city. Two suspects were apprehended near Nirawali point on Morena Road, while three others managed to escape. Authorities are currently interrogating the arrested individuals, and CCTV footage from various locations is being reviewed to trace the remaining culprits.
