Challenging operation

To control the blaze, 49 fire engines and 5 foam sprinkler trucks were deployed. The presence of chemicals, along with cardboard and plastic materials, caused the fire to spread rapidly. Firefighters worked tirelessly for several hours and managed to bring the situation under control by 3:30 am.

According to Fire Brigade Officer Atival Yadav, "It was a challenging operation, but our team managed to contain the fire after hours of effort."

The factory is reportedly owned by a prominent businessman, Pappu Gupta, who arrived at the site shortly after knowing about the incident. Other factory owners from the area also rushed to the scene.

At present the authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the damage.
