Morena (Madhya Pradesh): A woman was shot on her chest and back during a ‘territorial’ dispute between two rival parties in Morena on Monday morning.
Injured woman Sunita Jatav was immediately brought to the district hospital, where she was referred to Gwalior after her condition became critical.
This incident reported near Chhoti Lalaur railway gate located in Station Road police station area. According to information about 11 rounds of firing were heard in about 10 minutes.

According to the police, there has been a long-standing dispute between Phool Singh Jatav and Nawab Singh Jatav over supremacy in the area. There have been many disputes between the two parties in the past. Five days ago, while drinking alcohol, there was an altercation between Phool Singh's son Vicky and Nawab Singh's son Monu over an old dispute.
After this, the tension increased. On Saturday evening, there was an argument between the two parties again and on Sunday the fight broke out again. Nawab Singh's son surrounded Vicky on the way. He abused him and threatened to kill him.
On Monday morning, Phool Singh, Natthi, Raju and Sunita reached Nawab Singh's house with a complaint. During this, Nawab Singh and his family members first started fighting and then started firing. Both the parties fired bullets at each other. Sunita got injured in the firing.
The police have turned the area into a cantonment after the incident. Station Road police station police and senior officers have reached the spot. The search for the accused has been started.
Morena CSP Deepali Chandolia said that "the woman has been hit by two bullets and her condition is critical. The police have registered a case against both the parties and started investigation".
