Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Vande Bharat Express connecting Bhopal and Lucknow is all set to begin operations in October, bringing a fast, safe, and comfortable travel option between the two state capitals.
This modern semi-high-speed train will offer faster, safer, and more comfortable travel between the two state capitals.

It will cover the long distance in less time, helping passengers save time and enjoy a better travel experience.
Currently, only a few trains run between Bhopal and Lucknow, and they often remain heavily booked, especially in sleeper and AC classes. The introduction of Vande Bharat is expected to bring great relief to thousands of passengers traveling between the two cities.
It will especially benefit those who want to complete their journey in less time.
According to railway sources, the train will first run as a sitting version, with Chair Car and Executive Class coaches.
A sleeper version is also being planned and could be introduced by November. The sleeper coaches are being built in Chennai.
The Bhopal-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express is expected to start in the first or second week of October. The train’s rake will arrive in Bhopal by early September, followed by a trial run lasting 10 to 15 days.
After a successful trial and approval from the Railway Board, the train will start regular service.
The possible route may include important stations like Bhopal, Vidisha, Bina, Jhansi, and Kanpur Central.
