Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Discussions about the election of BJP’s national president have intensified after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return from a foreign trip.
The party has expressed the possibility of holding the election of the national president. The party has already elected presidents of many state units. Several leaders of the party in the state are also keeping an eye on the election of the national president.
Those who are vying for the post of the national president have some connections with the state. Other than Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, those who are vying for the post have some relations with the state.
As Chouhan’s name is doing the rounds for the party’s national president, many leaders in the state are curious about it. The supporters of Chouhan are waiting for the announcement of his name for the post.
Besides Chouhan, the names of Bhupendra Yadav and Dharmendra Pradhan are being discussed for the post. Yadav was the party’s election in charge during the assembly polls in 2023. Because Yadav was in charge, many politicians are in touch with him.
Pradhan was election in charge during the assembly elections of 2018. He has been associated with many leaders of the party for a long time. Many leaders of the party’s unit have been in touch with him since he was a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar is also closely connected with many leaders of the state. Urban Development Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya was election in charge in Haryana.

BJP’s national president JP Nadda has a direct connection with the state. The wife of Nadda, Mallika Nadda, is a resident of Jabalpur. As Nadda’s in-laws’ house is in Jabalpur, many leaders have relations with Nadda.
