Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh will continue to experience cold weather in the mornings and nights, while the daytime will remain warm.

On the first day of February, the weather was similar, with temperatures crossing 32 degrees Celsius in Mandla, Malanjkhand, Khandwa, and Khargone.

According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance will become active on February 3, affecting northern parts of the state, including Gwalior and Chambal. This may bring cloudy skies and light rain in some areas.

Senior weather scientist Ved Prakash Singh said that some parts of the state will see cloud cover in the first week of February.

Rain is expected on February 12, 13, and 14. After February 20, the cold will reduce further, and temperatures will rise during both day and night.

The Meteorological Department stated that a western disturbance will affect western and northern India from February 3. As a result, northern Madhya Pradesh may see clouds and light rain. However, this system is not strong, so heavy rainfall is not expected anywhere.

On Saturday, the temperature was recorded at 32.4°C in Mandla, 32.9°C in Malanjkhand, 32.5°C in Khandwa, and 32°C in Khargone. In Betul, Ratlam, Damoh, Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Seoni, Tikamgarh, and Umaria, temperatures ranged between 30 and 31°C.

Temperatures are likely to rise further on Sunday. On Friday and Saturday nights, Sagar recorded 16°C, while Seoni recorded 17°C.
