Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh government has announced that from August 15, a total of 1,200 new Dial-112 vehicles will be deployed across the state to strengthen emergency response services.
These vehicles will operate under the Dial-112 helpline, which provides quick assistance in cases of crime, accidents, medical emergencies, and other urgent situations.
According to information, 700 of these vehicles will be four-wheelers, while 500 will be motorcycles. The move aims to ensure faster response in both urban and rural areas, especially in places where narrow roads or remote locations make it difficult for larger vehicles to reach.
The newly added vehicles will be equipped with modern communication systems to maintain constant contact with the control room.

The government has also stated that the expansion of the Dial-112 fleet will help reduce response times, improve public safety, and provide timely help to citizens during emergencies.
These vehicles will be stationed in different districts and will operate 24/7.
Officials believe that this step will significantly improve the reach of law enforcement and speed up emergency aid delivery in Madhya Pradesh. With more vehicles available across the state, help can arrive more quickly during urgent situations, whether it is a road accident, a medical emergency, or a crime incident.
The service is also expected to be a major support during festivals, large public gatherings, and other events when the number of emergency calls usually increases.
