Problem minister?

A minister's action at a restaurant in Gwalior has caught everyone's attention. The issue reached the party's central leadership through social media. The incident has also annoyed many of his party colleagues. But it nettled a senior leader more than anyone else. The minister went to Gwalior to attend the wedding ceremony of the leader’s son. But the people schmooze more about the fuss the minister created at the restaurant than the function. Many senior politicians and film stars participated in the wedding ceremony. The senior leader believed that the film stars' presence would entail a lot of discussion. But rather than discussing it, they are chin-wagging about the restaurant incident. Some people natter that the minister had to go to a restaurant to take food, for he did not get it at the wedding function. His conduct also made his in-laws, living in Gwalior, uncomfortable.
Who does it?
Many people link a minister with certain devious incidents taking place in the state capital. They see the minister's hand in all such cases. There were attempts to corner the minister in one such insidious case. Some people have the name of a minister’s supporter connected to the event. The purpose was to bring his name to media headlines. A group of people had his name linked with some wrong deeds thrice. They say the criminals in the city enjoy the minister's protection. They are taking him to task daily. Nevertheless, most of the politicians targeting him belong to his party. A legislator has eyes on the minister’s chair. His supporters are trying to bring the minister into any controversy. They want him to lose the ministry. In case of a ministry reshuffle, the legislator should get a cabinet berth.
Inequality in equality
The Congress has given equal status to all spokespersons in a recently released list. The party forgot the experienced people. The Congress has brought the senior and junior spokespersons together. It happened because some spokespersons once came to blows. A senior member of the media cell advised the MPCC president to bring all spokespersons to the same platform to end the fight. The list has enhanced the possibility of deepening the dispute rather than solving it. A few Congress leaders and spokespersons are in a mood to quit their posts. Senior spokespersons feel the party has deprived them of their position. Thus, it is useless to move around sporting the party spokesperson’s tag.
Slip of the tongue

A man often fumbles at the time of speaking. Efforts to avoid fumbling fail. A BJP leader fumbled at a meeting. He came to Bhopal to participate in an event. He took the opposition to task for Parivarwad (familism). In the process, he mentioned the name of a leader playing an important role in the BJP-led NDA government at the centre. He also took the leader to task over the issue of familism. But his criticism of familism may shock many leaders of his party, who are trying to bring their sons into politics. The leaders trying to bring their sons into politics may be in trouble if the party bosses become strict about familism.

Bangla bane nyara!
A senior leader of the Congress is building a massive bungalow in the state capital. A few Congress leaders have already constructed their houses at the place where the senior leader is building his bungalow. The senior leader’s brother has a bungalow in this area. A former chief minister of the party has a palatial house in this part of the city. The area once figured in the discussions because of the former chief minister’s bungalow. The Congress leader who is building a house in the area will now figure in the political gossip. The under-construction house, once completed, will be worth seeing. The politician has reached the end of his career. His Upper House membership will end in a year. He wants to spend the rest of his life in his house. But he decided to keep his office in the government house to avoid the crowd of Congress supporters.
Inauspicious May!
May has turned out to be challenging for the BJP’s media team. A firebrand BJP spokesman recently died of a heart attack. Few believed such a thing would happen to him. Another spokesperson passed away in May last year. He, too, fell prey to heart ailments. Both were hearty. A popular chief spokesman of the BJP passed away in May three years ago. His death shocked the party. All three were an asset to the ruling dispensation. Just before the assembly election, another BJP spokesperson suddenly passed away. The shocks the BJP’s media team is receiving one after another have upset the senior leaders of the party. Most of the leaders, who have fallen prey to these shocks, were associated with a particular city of the state. The leaders see it as misfortune.
