Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The BJP leader, setting their eyes on political appointments, may get a shock again. The BJP organisation and the government have again put off the appointments in corporations, boards and commissions.
Now, the BJP will set up a team of the organisation. The party leaders have decided to set up teams in districts, and then they will form the state executive committee.
Afterwards, the party leaders will be adjusted in corporations, boards and commissions through political appointments. Many BJP leaders have been waiting for political appointments for 20 months.
Two months after the government formation, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav removed the chairmen and deputy chairmen of most of the corporations and boards in February last year.
There have been speculations since the Lok Sabha elections that the BJP workers will be given political posts.
Now that Hemant Khandelwal has become the party’s state unit president, the party will soon make political appointments. Names for candidates for such positions have been brought from districts.
After getting names from the district unit presidents, the party also sent observers to the districts to find suitable names for political appointments.
The party will mull over the names for their selection in the executive committee and for political appointments. The RSS is set to play an important role in all the appointments of the BJP.
According to reports, the RSS’s role in political appointment and selection of members for the party executive will be important. The RSS is assessing which work should be given to a leader according to his capacity.
