Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A clerk at Jiwaji University in MP's Gwalior, has been accused of harassing a female student. The incident took place in the university's Physical Education Department. The victim alleged that when she approached the department for some issue, the accused clerk began taunting her. He then allegedly harrassed her and misbehaved with her.
Scared, the student then went to the nearby police station to file a complaint. Following the student's complaint, the University Police Station registered a case against the accused employee. The university administration also suspended him.

According to information, the incident occurred when a third-semester BPED student visited the department regarding an issue with her marksheet. She approached clerk Jitendra Singh Bhadauria for clarification. The student alleged that the clerk misbehaved with her. Hearing her screams, other students and staff members gathered at the scene. After learning about the alleged harassment, students created a stir on campus.
University officials were informed and took immediate action. Based on the student’s complaint, they suspended the accused employee. The student later visited the University Police Station with her family and filed a formal complaint.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Niranjan Sharma confirmed the incident. He stated that the police have registered a case against the accused and dispatched a team to arrest him. The investigation is ongoing.
