Madhya Pradesh: ED Officers Probing Transport Scam Transferred; Key Evidence Found Against Saurabh Sharma & Accomplices

The posting of assistant directors Gini Chandana and Hitesh Bhandari has been interchanged. After the end of his ED remand, Sharma told media persons that he had disclosed everything to ED.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The ED officers probing the case of Saurabh Sharma have been transferred. Deputy director, Tushar Shrivastava, posted in the Bhopal zonal office, has been sent to Delhi zonal office. Similarly, another deputy director Ritesh Kumar Shrivastava was transferred to the eastern headquarters of ED.

Likewise, two other deputy directors Manish Savarwal and Mukesh Kumar have been shifted to Bhopal zonal office. The posting of assistant directors Gini Chandana and Hitesh Bhandari has been interchanged. After the end of his ED remand, Sharma told media persons that he had disclosed everything to ED.

ED was acting very fast against Sharma who was involved in a scam in the Transport Department. After lodging a case against Sharma, ED raided 15 places in connection with the scam. After Sharma’s remand of Lokayukta Special Police Establishment, ED quizzed Sharma in jail. Afterwards, Sharma, and his accomplices Chetan Singh and Sharad Jaiswal, were taken on remand.

According to sources, when the ED sleuths questioned the trio, the probe agency laid their hands on strong evidence in connection with the scam. The names of several politicians and senior officers figured in the scam.
