Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): In a landmark step towards modernizing the judiciary, the Digital Court at the District and Sessions Court, Jabalpur, was inaugurated today by Honorable Justice Shri Surya Kant, Honorable Justice Shri J.K. Maheshwari, and Honorable Justice Shri Satish Chandra Sharma, judges of Supreme Court in the esteemed presence of Honorable Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Shri Suresh Kumar Kait.
The event, held at the Conference Block of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, was attended by the Administrative Judge, Honorable Shri sanjeev sachdeva , Administrative judge high court of MP .
The initiative aims to advance the vision of paperless courts, promoting transparency, efficiency, and environmental sustainability in judicial processes. A key highlight of the event was the launch of the Madhya Pradesh High Court’s OTT platform, enabling live streaming of district court proceedings, a pioneering move to enhance public access to justice while upholding judicial decorum and security.
Honorable Chief Justice Shri Suresh Kumar Kait elaborated on the Digital Court system, emphasizing its role in digitizing judicial documents to reduce paper usage and accelerate case hearings and disposals. This eco-friendly approach aligns with broader environmental conservation goals.

Honorable Shri Sanjeev Sachdeva, Administrative Judge, lauded the IT team’s efforts, noting that the Madhya Pradesh High Court is at the forefront of technological innovation in India’s judiciary. The event showcased a live demonstration of court proceedings broadcast through the judiciary’s dedicated OTT platform, allowing judges, advocates, and plaintiffs to engage seamlessly in a secure, digital environment.
This initiative underscores the Madhya Pradesh High Court’s commitment to leveraging technology for a more accessible, efficient, and sustainable judicial system, setting a benchmark for courts nationwide.

All the Judicial Officers, posted at District and Tehsil headquarters, across the state of Madhya Pradesh, joined through virtual platforms to witness the dawn of a technological advancement in the District Judiciary.
