Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh): Commissioner of Narmadapuram, Krishna Gopal Tiwari, has directed the collectors and chief executive officers of district Panchayats of Harda and Betul to finish all the work under Jal Ganga Abhiyan by June 30.
Tiwari issued the directive through a videoconference. Only five days are left for implementing the commissioner’s directives. He said the officials should recharge ponds, fields, wells and old water bodies to complete the target before June 30.
The commissioner said the farmers should not face any problems in registering their names for the sale of moong (green grams). The markets, or mandis, where they will sell their produce should be near their homes, Tiwari said.
He directed the collector to instruct the staff to survey the crops, such as Kodo, Kutki and Ragi, when they carry out the survey and upload it on the portal.
He directed the chief municipal officers to instruct their staff to dismantle the dilapidated schools, hostels, Panchayat buildings, Anganwadi centres and government buildings. All Tehsils and sub-divisional offices should implement the e-office system, he said.
All files should go through the e-office system, and the officers must stop receiving any offline files, he said.
He directed the city magistrates and sub-divisional magistrates to visit the city and tell their staff to clean up the drains and roads.
During the video conference, Betul collector Narendra Suryavanshi, Harda collector Siddharth Jain, Narmadapuram collector Sonia Meena, chief executive officer of Narmadapuram district Panchayat Sojan Singh Rawat and other officials were present at the video conferencing.
