Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will interact with industrialists and hold ‘Investment in Madhya Pradesh Road show’ in Bengaluru on Wednesday. During his visit to Bangalore, Yadav will also visit Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) facility and participate in the dedication ceremony of 2100th Metro Coach.
The chief minister is also going to address ‘Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. At the BEML shop site, Yadav will also take a test ride of a metro coach thereafter he will visit integrated design centre and watch the presentation of BEML on the Bhopal project. The land allotment process to the BEML project will be completed on this occasion.
Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has shown interest to set up its rail coach manufacturing unit in Goharganj of Raisen district. The PSU intends to manufacture coaches of Metro and Vande Bharat trains at Goharganj. BEML is likely to make an investment of Rs 1800 crores in the state.

A senior officer of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation said that the representatives of BEML had participated in the Global Investors Summit held in Bhopal earlier this year and had shown interest to set up their unit in the state. “We have shown them different locations and they zeroed in on land available in Goharganj,” the official said.

CM will hold one-on-one meetings with industrialists to attract investment in the field of IT, electronics, manufacturing, defence, automobiles, tourism and technology.
