Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In a recent Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Monday, several key decisions were taken to boost the state's development and provide relief to affected communities. The meeting addressed urgent issues arising from recent hailstorms that damaged crops in over 400 villages. Officials were directed to conduct immediate surveys and release financial aid to the impacted farmers.

CM Mohan Yadav also unveiled the Vikramaditya flag and the publication “Bharat ka Nav Varsh Vikram Samvat,” while outlining plans for a wildlife sanctuary in Omkareshwar and upcoming cultural events in New Delhi.

According to information, the Cabinet approved the installation of four large solar power plants across the state. These plants will help reduce electricity expenses for municipal bodies and water supply projects. The move aims to make water distribution more efficient and affordable. In addition, district collectors were instructed to prepare for the summer water crisis by ensuring adequate water supply for both people and animals.

The Cabinet also decided to designate Ujjain as a major center for time calculation, capitalizing on its renowned mathematical precision. During the meeting, ministers agreed to actively participate in Gudipadwa celebrations and local New Year events that promote traditional health practices.

Investment and Cultural Initiatives

The government is also witnessing positive outcomes from the Global Investors Summit. Under this initiative, 18 MoUs were signed in the Bhind-Chambal region, with further industrial projects underway in areas including Gwalior. The Cabinet further allocated 19 acres of land in Khajuraho to the Oberoi Group for a wellness center, expected to boost tourism and local economy.
