Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh has received 28.6 inches of rain this monsoon season. So far, 47 percent more water than normal has fallen. This is 77% of the quota. Clouds have rained heavily in the eastern part. However, the strong rain system is not active in the state for the next 4 days. The phase of light rain will continue.

According to the Meteorological Department, a phase of heavy rain will start in the second week of August, which will continue till the end. In such a situation, the quota of rain will be completed in August itself.

However, till now the quota has been completed in 9 districts including Gwalior, but the picture of the districts of Indore and Ujjain division is not better.

There is a yellow alert for heavy rain in Gwalior, Morena and Bhind on Tuesday. At the same time, it is sunny in Bhopal since morning.

According to the Meteorological Department, the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh i.e. Jabalpur, Sagar, Shahdol and Rewa divisions have received 51% more rain than the average and the western part i.e. Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Chambal and Narmadapuram divisions have received 43% more rain.

Drizzle continues in many districts

On Monday, there was light rain in many districts. Datia recorded more than half an inch of rain. There was drizzle in many districts including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Khajuraho and Naugaon of Chhatarpur, Rewa, Satna, Seoni, Balaghat.

At the same time, an increase in the day temperature was also seen. Similar weather will continue till August 10. This time there are less chances of heavy rain on Rakshabandhan but heavy rain may fall on Independence Day.

Indore recorded least rainfall

Vidisha, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Balaghat, Dindori, Sagar, Panna, Sheopur, Singrauli, Sidhi, Narmadapuram and Umaria have received more than 30 inches of rain.

Indore recorded the least rainfall of 11 inches, Burhanpur 11.1 inches, Barwani 11.5 inches, Khargone 11.8 inches and Khandwa 12.8 inches.
