The wedding was filled with traditions, joy, and love, making it a memorable event. Emily’s relatives also wore traditional Indian outfits and enjoyed the celebrations.

This wedding once again proved that love has no boundaries of country or culture.

The wedding took place in Gwalior, where Rahul and Emily followed all Indian traditions. They took seven sacred rounds (saat phere) around the fire, with Vedic mantras being chanted. Translators helped Emily understand the meaning of each ritual. After the ceremony, Emily officially became Emily Bohre.

Rahul was drawn to Emily’s simplicity, and their friendship soon turned into love. When Rahul proposed, Emily immediately said yes, as she had already seen him as her life partner. Their parents happily supported their decision, making the wedding a joyful occasion for both families.

Despite coming from a traditional Brahmin family, Rahul was sure that his parents would understand his feelings.

When he shared his decision with his father, he agreed instantly, saying, "Our happiness is in our children’s happiness." With this approval, wedding preparations began in both Germany and Gwalior. Emily’s family was excited to take part in Indian wedding traditions.

Rahul Bohre, originally from Bhind and raised in Chambal, has been working as an engineer in Germany for the past eight years. He met Emily at his workplace, where she worked in the HR department.
