Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Ridhima Gohiya, Nilotama Singh and Ayaan Khan topped in Class 12 while Jaskeerat Kaur secured first position in Class 10 in the city. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared ISC Class 12 and ICSE Class 10 exam results on Wednesday.
Ridhima from PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) stream scored 99.25 % while Nilotama and Ayaan scored 99.25% in Humanities stream. Vanshika Arya is in second place with 97 % in PCM.
While most students appear in the examination with five subjects, Nilotama achieved this feat by appearing in six subjects. Her other subjects were Economics and Mathematics, in which she scored 96 marks. She had earlier also topped the state and national level by scoring 99.6% marks in Class 10th.

She has received offers from prestigious colleges in London for higher education in Political Science and Economics, but she has decided to stay in India and pursue a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Delhi or Bangalore.
Similarly, Jaskeerat Kaur topped with 98.6 % in Class 10th. Yuvraj Rajput secured second place with 98 %. Jaskeerat Kaur and Sreshthi Jain scored 100 marks in History, Civics and Geography, while Yuvraj Rajput, Unnati Gupta, Krishna Gupta, Gautami Tiwari and Samaira Uppal scored 100 marks in HCG, Arts, Commercial Studies and Science respectively.

Improvement exams in July
Girls outshone boys yet again in the CISCE class 10 and 12 exam.
In the class 10 exams, the pass percentage of girls stood at 99.45 per cent while that of boys was marginally lower at 98.64 per cent.
Similarly, girls performed better than boys in class 12 too, with girls' pass percentage at 99.45 per cent and boys' pass percentage at 98.64 per cent.
The improvement exams for Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) will be conducted in July. A total of 2,52,557 candidates from 2,803 schools gave the class 10 exams, of which 2,308 candidates could not clear the exams. In the class 12 exams, there were 99,551 candidates from 1460 schools, and 973 of them could not clear the test.
