Horrific! Woman Raped Inside Jabalpur Cafe By Husband's Friend; Three Held

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A woman accused her husband's friend of raping her inside a cafe in Jabalpur on Friday.

The alleged assault occurred at Moonlight Cafe.

On July 19, a woman, resident of Adhartal area filed a complaint of rape. According to the victim, the accused, Mohit Patel reportedly called her to Moonlight Cafe, where he forced her into a private cabin within the establishment and brutally raped her.

According to reports, following the heinous crime the accused threatened to kill her if she reported the incident.

The Adhartal police station swiftly registered a case based on the woman's complaint and took a prompt action by arresting, the primary accused, Mohit Patel.

Two accused Aman Rathore and Prince Rajak, identified as the operator of Moonlight Cafe were also booked after a detailed investigation which alleged their involvement in the crime.

Adhartal Police Station in-charge, Pradeep Kumar said, "On July 19, a woman filed a complaint of rape against her husband's friend, who allegedly invited her to cafe and brutally raped her in a cabin of the cafe."

"Based on evidences and CCTV footages, the police have nabbed both the cafe operators along with the primary accused." Kumar added.
