Rewa (Madhya Pradesh): A government school teacher was seen dancing and pouring money at girls performing in an orchestra event in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa on Monday.

Seeing the dancing girls, the teacher got carried away and joined them. Lost in the moment, he kneeled down and swayed to the beats, allegedly touched the dancers inappropriately and showered cash on them.

According to reports, the teacher works as a Cluster Academic Coordinator (CAC) at Hanumana Janpad Education Center and is posted at Pahadi Government School.

District Education Officer (DEO) Sudama Prasad Gupta said he has not yet seen the video. He confirmed the incident took place at night during an orchestra event. "We will investigate after receiving a formal complaint. Action will be taken based on the facts," he said.

Hanumana’s BRC (Block Resource Coordinator) Laxmandhar Dwivedi gave a strange reply when asked by the media. He said, "Why shouldn't a teacher enjoy?" After that, he did not respond to phone calls.

Collector Sanjay Kumar Jain has ordered an inquiry. He has directed SDM Rashmi Chaturvedi to investigate both the teacher’s behavior and the BRC’s statement. He said strict action will be taken based on the findings.

The matter is now under investigation, and authorities have assured that appropriate steps will be taken against anyone found guilty.
