Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A late-night brawl erupted between customers and staff members at Bhopal's famous ice-cream parlour Shahi Durbar on Monday. It is said that the accused youths started hurling abuses over the 'inflated' bill.
The verbal altercation which quickly turned into a violent physical fight was captured in a video that went viral on social media.
The incident raised serious concerns about safety in public spaces, further highlighting the closing-time violations by the ice-cream parlours especially during summers.

According to the reports, chaos erupted when a disagreement over the bill amount led to a verbal spat between a customer and a staff. Further, a group of 3-4 boys entered the store and started hurling abuses. The staff and some customers raised objection.
Drama unfolded when the enraged youths started assaulting the staff members which led to a late midnight altercation.
The viral video shows, a large number of people gathering in front of the store and both the sides vigorously attacking each other with sticks and chairs. People were seen hurling punches at each other.
Cops rushed to the spot immediately and the restaurant already infamous for frequent controversies, was immediately shut down by the police to avoid any further violence.
The cops assured appropriate action will be taken against those found guilty as thorough investigation is underway.
