Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development and construction works worth over ₹113 crore in a program organised in Sehore.
On this occasion, he also provided letters of acceptance of schemes to the beneficiaries of various schemes including PM Awas, Kalyani Pension, Family Assistance, Sambal, Divyang Marriage Promotion Scheme. Yadav announced ₹50 crore to Sehore Municipality for development works.
Yadav also said that this holy land of Sehore is a witness to the bugle of revolution of the freedom struggle in the year 1857. Just as the revolutionaries sacrificed their lives for freedom in Jallianwala Bagh, similarly 356 revolutionaries sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country on this holy land.
He said that the schemes and development works started by Union Agriculture Minister Chauhan during his tenure as Chief Minister will be continued in future as well. The amount of the scheme made for the empowerment of the Ladli sisters of the state will be increased to three thousand rupees.
CM highlighted that if farmers get sufficient water for irrigation of their crops, then their crops become gold. Irrigation water will reach every farm of Sehore district. He further added, that after becoming a metropolitan city, along with Bhopal and other areas, Sehore district will also enter a new phase of development.
He said that our government is determined to develop the country and the state and to do the best work. This process of development will continue in the future as well. Yadav also made several announcements for the development of Sehore district.
Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states of the country in the race of development. Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working with the spirit of continuous development of the country and the state. Chief minister emphasised on the state government's vigorous work for the prosperity of the farmers.
Wheat is being purchased from farmers at the rate of Rs 2600 per quintal. The state government is providing all facilities including electricity, water, roads, education in every area of the state. Today 30 medical colleges are operating in Madhya Pradesh and within the next 2 years their number will increase to 50 in the state.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased the honor and respect of the country at the international level. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Indian Army has done the work of killing the enemies of the country by entering their homes, the people of the country have also unitedly supported the government in this great work. India is moving forward with the spirit of live and let live.

Developed farming and prosperous farmers are our resolution: Union Agriculture Minister Chauhan
Union Agriculture Minister Chauhan added that the country and the state are continuously developing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. It is always our endeavor that there should never be any reduction in the development, honor, respect and self-respect of the people.
He said that the goal of Prime Minister Modi is to build a developed India as soon as possible. Public participation with the government is necessary for the creation of a developed India. Developed India cannot be built without the cooperation of the public. To make the country developed, every village of the country has to be developed, for this the public will have to work together with the government. Every citizen will have to take a pledge to make his village developed.
For the construction of developed India, it is the responsibility of all of us to conserve water and electricity. Make our villages and cities clean and drug-free. Chauhan said, the government is constantly trying to do maximum development in the field of agriculture, so that the income of farmers can be increased and more and more sisters can be made Lakhpati Didi, so that women become empowered.
Chauhan, while reading the letter of Prime Minister Modi, said that the Central Government has approved the construction of the remaining 7 lakh 85 thousand 356 houses under the Awas Plus list of 2018 of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, whose cost is aroun Rs 9.45 crore. A survey is being conducted in the state so that all eligible beneficiaries can get housing and beneficiaries will be provided the benefit of housing scheme as per their eligibility. similarly, the Central Government has approved a level budget of 263 crore for MNREGA in Madhya Pradesh.
The Union Minister said that to develop agriculture, scientists are going door-to-door to inform farmers about the techniques. This will make agriculture a profitable business. He said that developed farming and prosperous farmers are our resolution.

On this occasion, Sehore MLA Sudesh Rai and Municipal Council President Prince Rathore also addressed and apprised the Chief Minister and Union Agriculture Minister about the various development needs of the district and Sehore city.
Revenue Minister Karan Singh Verma, Backward Class and District In-charge Minister Krishna Gaur, Budhni MLA Ramakant Bhargav, Ashta MLA Gopal Singh Engineer, Backward Class Commission Member Sitaram Yadav, District Panchayat President Rachna Surendra Mewar, District Chief were present in the program.
