Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 20-year-old youth died after drowning in a swimming pool at a private farmhouse in Bhopal on Friday.
The farmhouse is located in Harrakheda village under Gunga police station.
The youth went to farmhouse to attend the wedding of his friend’s sister, which was to take place at night.
A video of the incident has now gone viral on social media. The footage shows the boy being taken out of the water while people around him appear panicked and attempt to revive him.

According to reports, Kabitpura resident Ayaan Ahmad went to farmhouse with his friends and was engaged in the marriage preparations, which were to take place at night. In the evening, the youths entered swimming pool at the farmhouse to take bath.
Ayaan climbed up on the slider and came down in the water. His friends were alarmed when Ayaan did not come out of the water for around 30 seconds. They took him out of the water and gave him primary treatment before taking him to the hospital.
Ayaan was admitted to the hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. Ayaan’s relative who was at the spot said he was conscious for some minutes after he was taken out of the water but then his condition deteriorated.
Gunga police station incharge Harishankar Verma said the body has been handed over to his family after post-mortem and further investigations were underway.
