Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In view of Muharram processions to be taken out from July 4 to 6, the traffic will be diverted in old city areas from 6 pm. Traffic police have advised commuters to use alternative routes for reaching their destinations.
Additional police force has been deployed to reduce traffic pressure at Bharat Talkies, Alpana Tiraha, Nadra Bus Stand, Bhopal Talkies, Shahanjanabad, Royal Market, Kohefiza Tiraha, Karbala as there will be traffic pressure on these routes after 6 pm.
Movement of all types of goods, heavy, commercial and permitted vehicles will be banned on these routes. From July 5 to July 7, entry of heavy vehicles in the city will be banned from 6 pm to 6 am.

Vehicles going towards Raja Bhoj Airport can go via Bharat Mata Square, Bhadbhada Square, Sakshi Dhaba Square, Neelbad Square by turning right, Nathubar Kheda Road, Mugalia Chhap, Khajuri Road, Khajuri Bypass Square-Mubarakpur Square.
Moreover they can also use the routes via Prabhat Square, JK Road, Ratnagiri, Ayodhya Bypass Road, Bhanpur, Karound Square, Naijel, Gandhinagar Square. Vehicles going from New City to Railway Station can travel via Prabhat Square, Parihar Square, 80 Feet Road, Bajariya Square.
