Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Panic prevailed at Hermann Gmeiner School in Piplani after a bomb threat was issued to the school through a message sent in Telugu on its official email ID on Saturday morning. Though the school was closed, a parents-teacher meeting was underway in the morning.
The school premises were evacuated immediately after the email was received and translated by a school staff. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), dog squad and ATS (Anti Terrorist Squad) teams carried out a search of the premises but no explosives were found.

Piplani police station incharge Anurag Lal said email was as received at 10.30 am. The school authorities were shocked when a Telegu-knowing staff told them that the email was actually a bomb threat.
In the email, the unidentified sender threatened to carry out improvised explosive device explosions on school premises. The staff and the parents immediately evacuated the school premises and police were informed.
The squads even opened some parcels of books but no suspicious object was found. According to TI, cyber crime cell experts were tracing the IP address of email sender. An FIR will be registered against the unidentified sender, Lal added.
