Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 25-year-old electrician ended his life at his home in Purana Bhanpur on Thursday, Chhola Mandir police said here on Friday.
According to the police, Ravi Lodhi, son of Mangal Singh Lodhi, was found hanging at his residence. According to the family, Ravi was in a relationship with a girl from Vidisha district.
Things were not smooth between the two and Ravi had been depressed over it, his brother claimed. Ravi had been under severe mental stress over his relationship with the girl, the kin claimed.
No suicide note was found and so the exact reason behind the youth taking the extreme step is not clear, said police.
A case has been registered, and investigators are now analyzing phone call records and recording statements of the family members. Further investigation is underway.
IT employee found dead in Nishatpura, investigation on
A 35-year-old IT employee was found dead at his residence in Krashak Nagar on Thursday in an apparent case of suicide, Nishatpura police said here on Friday.
According to police officials, Om Prakash Mehra a native of Sehore district, had dropped his wife at her parental home in Gautam Nagar a day earlier before heading to work.
Mehra had an emotional conversation with family members on the night of June 4. When his wife was unable to reach him the next morning, she alerted a neighbour. The house was found locked from the inside, and upon breaking open the door, Mehra was discovered hanging.
Sub-Inspector Kamlesh Chauhan investigation officer of this case said that no suicide note was recovered from the scene, leaving the motive unclear. Authorities are awaiting the post-mortem report to determine the next steps in the case. Further investigations are underway.
