Bhopal: Husband roughed up by wife and stepdaughter, complains to police

BHOPAL

A man was beaten up mercilessly by his wife and stepdaughter over a petty issue, said Nishatpura police on Thursday.

Police station in-charge Mahendra Singh Chouhan told Free Press that on Wednesday evening a case was reported to police station in which a man claimed that he was roughed up by his wife and stepdaughter.

The victim Sajid Ahamad (35) resident of Gas Rahat colony filed the complaint against his wife Ayeha (41) and stepdaughter Bushra (20).

It is reported that their four-year-old son had taken some items from a general store without payment and the people are commenting on his act. The accused Ayesha asked Sajid to solve the issue.

On this both husband and wife started arguing and the issue complicated to such an extent that Ayesha and Bushra started beating up Sajid.

In the assault, Sajid got stitches on his head and also marks at his back.

On the report of Sajid the police have registered the case under section 294,323,506 and 34 of Indian Penal Code.

On contrary, Ayesha also filed the complaint to the police that Sajid had beaten her and the daughter. The police have also registered a counter FIR against Sajid.
