No suicide note was recovered from the body and reasons behind the incident were still not known

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at the cremation ground under Bilkhiriya police station late Friday night. Investigations revealed that the man was addicted to alcohol and also practiced sorcery.

No suicide note was recovered from the body and reasons behind the incident were still not known, police said.

According to reports, Munnalal Yadav, resident of Daulatpur Kokta was a shuttering worker. On Friday night he left home without informing the family. His kin launched a search when he did not return home till late at night.

They found him hanging at the cremation ground inside a tin shade. The family brought down Munnalal from the noose and rushed him to hospital where he was declared brought dead. Locals told cops that Munnalal was often seen consuming alcohol at the cremation ground and even practiced sorcery. Police officials said exact reasons behind the suicide could be ascertained after recording statements of the family.
