Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Over 30,000 women from Sehore will participate in an event on women’s empowerment being held on the occasion of tercentenary of Queen Ahilya Bai at the Jamboree Maidan in Bhopal on Saturday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the event and organise road show.
According to sub-divisional magistrate, Tanmay Verma, 750 buses will take the women to the state capital. The district administration is on high alert about the traffic regulation.
Collector K Balaguru held a meeting with the officials about the preparations on Friday. As Sehore is close to the state capital, a large number of women from the district will participate in the event.

Nearly 250 policemen will be there to manage traffic in the district from where 750 buses will leave for the state capital.
More than 12 points have been made across the district. The policemen will patrol the highway.
According to sources in the district administration, more than one lakh people may pass by the roads across the district.
The buses from Indore, Rajgarh, Ujjain, Shajapur, Agar Malwa, Harda and Hoshangabad will pass by the borders of the district to reach the venue of the event.
