Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 30-year-old woman has accused a man of raping her under the pretext of marriage. Acting on the woman’s complaint, Kolar police have registered a case of rape, cheating and criminal intimidation against the accused, identified as Ravi Gajjam.
According to the police, the victim in her complaint said that she met Ravi a few months ago. Over time, their interaction escalated, and Ravi allegedly promised to marry her.
Trusting his words, the woman entered into a physical relationship with him. However, when she pressured him for marriage, the man began avoiding the topic and eventually refused bluntly. Ravi also threatened the victim, following which she approached the police for help.
Police officials said efforts were underway to trace and arrest the accused who is now at large.
Blue bull meat seized from criminal’s house
Joint teams of police and forest department on Thursday seized meat of a blue bull from the house of a notorious criminal of Talaiya area.
According to reports, following a tip-off, the joint team raided the house of Faheem Bom and found around 6 kilograms of meat of the prohibited animal in the evening. Faheem was not found at home but his son was detained for questioning regarding the seizure.
CP Chandrashekhar Pandey said further action in this connection will be taken by the forest department officials. It is worth mentioning that Faheem has multiple cases registered against him including that of attacking policemen.
