Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 28-year-old woman went missing after boarding Narmada Express on August 7. She was traveling from Indore to Katni for the festival. Five days on, she remains untraced.
The girl has been identified as Archana Tiwari, a Civil Judge aspirant preparing in Indore.
The news spread rapidly and started going viral all over social media. Police swung into search and is scanning CCTV cameras installed at railways stations, the roads she took and her hostel to find the clues.
A CCTV footage from her hostel, showing her leaving with a bag to visit her family for Raksha Bandhan, has also gone viral on social media.

Archana was preparing for Civil Judge exams
According to the information received, Archana Tiwari, a resident of Indore who had been preparing diligently for the Civil Judge exam, boarded the Narmada Express on the evening of August 7. She traveled in the B3 coach of the train, planning to visit her family and celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan with them.
During the journey, her last known location was recorded at Bhopal station. However, when the train arrived at Katni South station early in the morning on August 8, Archana did not get down from the train as expected.
Adding to the mystery, her bag was later discovered at the Umaria railway station, which is located between Bhopal and Katni. Meanwhile, her mobile phone has remained switched off since then, making it difficult for authorities and her family to get in touch with her or trace her whereabouts.
Family members, police, and railway officials have launched an intensive search operation, but no major lead has been found so far.
Teams are checking CCTV footage at stations, questioning fellow passengers, and tracing her last movements, yet the investigation has not revealed any clear direction.
Archana belongs to the Mangalnagar area of Katni district and had been staying in a hostel in Indore for the past few months to prepare for competitive exams.
She was known to be focused on her studies and regularly visited her family during festivals.
