Skoda Auto India has launched the latest generation of its premium 4x4 SUV, the Kodiaq, with prices starting at Rs 46.89 lakh. The launch comes as the company celebrates 25 years of operations in India and 130 years globally. This year is turning out to be special for Skoda, with the debut of its first sub-4 metre SUV, the Kylaq, and now the all-new Kodiaq joining the lineup.

The new Skoda Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that delivers 150kW of power and 320Nm of torque. This performance is managed by a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels. Built on the MQB37 platform, the SUV is offered in two seven-seater variants – Sportline and Selection L&K. The Kodiaq is locally assembled at Skoda’s plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar and has received an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency figure of 14.86 km/l, making it a capable and efficient choice in the premium SUV space.

With a ground clearance of 155mm when fully loaded, the SUV continues to offer solid road presence and practicality. Folding down the third row increases capacity to 786 litres, and with both rear rows folded, the Kodiaq can carry up to 1,976 litres of luggage—making it ideal for long trips or heavy hauling.
