Hyundai India has introduced the Creta Electric, its first electric offering in the popular midsize SUV segment. Priced between ₹17.99 lakh and ₹23.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the Creta EV is available in six variants: Executive, Smart, Smart (O), Premium, Smart (O) Long Range, and Excellence Long Range.

The Creta Electric competes with the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and MG ZS EV. While rivals may offer better battery specs, Hyundai’s established “Creta” nameplate gives it an edge in this growing eSUV market.

Battery Specifications

The Creta Electric offers two battery options: a 42kWh pack with an ARAI-certified range of 390km and a larger 51.4kWh pack with a range of 473km. The smaller battery powers a 135hp motor, while the larger one supports a 171hp motor, offering robust performance.

Both battery options support fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes using a DC charger. AC home chargers take around 4–4.5 hours for a full charge.

Key Features

Key features include ADAS, panoramic sunroof, digital key, ventilated seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and dual-zone climate control. The top variants add luxury touches like leather upholstery, front parking sensors, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system. Eight monotone and two dual-tone colors, including matte options, cater to diverse customer preferences.
