Eicher Trucks and Buses, part of VE Commercial Vehicles, has begun supplying its Pro X small electric trucks to Magenta Mobility, a company focused on sustainable logistics solutions. Under an initial order of 100 units, the first batch of Pro X trucks with a 1.7-tonne payload will be deployed in key cities such as Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

This partnership aims to support the growth of eco-friendly logistics and marks a significant step towards decarbonising India's supply chain by promoting zero-emission transport solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, S S Gill, Chief Commercial Officer, VE Commercial Vehicles, said, “Through this association with Magenta Mobility, we are driving the future of smart logistics with advanced, eco-friendly transportation solutions. The Eicher Pro X range is designed to meet the growing demand for high performance, energy-efficient vehicles in the mid-mile and last-mile delivery sectors and aligns with Magenta Mobility’s focus on decarbonizing last mile mobility.”

“Partnering with Eicher Trucks and Buses and integrating the Eicher Pro X trucks into our fleet marks a pivotal moment in our commitment to transforming last-mile logistics in India. This collaboration not only strengthens our ability to offer efficient, sustainable, and reliable transportation solutions but also aligns with our vision of delivering high-performance, eco-friendly options for our diverse customer base,” said Maxson Lewis, Founder and CEO, Magenta Mobility.

Eicher Trucks and Buses recently showcased the Eicher Pro X electric truck at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, marking its debut in the growing 2-3.5-tonne segment. Designed for last-mile and short-distance deliveries, the Pro X offers ample cargo space, high energy efficiency, and features focused on driver comfort and safety, such as air-conditioned cabins and advanced safety tech. It was developed in collaboration with key players in e-commerce, FMCG, and courier services to meet their specific needs.

Meanwhile, Magenta Mobility, operating a fleet of over 2,600 electric vehicles across more than 18 cities, continues to scale up its operations and infrastructure, further promoting clean energy adoption in India’s logistics sector.
