United States: Mass Shooting Reported Outside Nightclub In Chicago; Several Injured (VIDEO)

Chicago: Multiple gunshots were fired in Chicago, United States, on Wednesday Night (local time). Some reports claimed that an unknown gunmen opened firing outside Artis nightclub at 311 W Chicago Avenue.

After receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot. The entire area has been cordoned off. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.

Many videos from the spot surfaced online. In these videos heavy police deployment was seen in the area.

Several people were reportedly injured in the mass shooting. Officer Julio Garcia, with the Chicago Police Department, said police would release additional updates as they became available, reported The Associated Press.

The restaurant and lounge, where the shooting took place, had reportedly hosted an album release party for a rapper.

No one has been arrested so far.
