Remember the couple who went viral when the wife joked about buying a keychain worth over ₹77,000? Well, they’re back, and this time, it’s the husband who’s stealing the spotlight.
In their latest Instagram reel, the UK-based husband transformed into a chef for his Indian wife. Instead of preparing European dishes, the Welsh man decided to go completely desi. The “Idli Anna” was seen cooking a South Indian breakfast with soft idlis, chutney, and a comforting cup of masala chai.
The video started with him heating coconut oil in a pan and tossing in fresh curry leaves. He then added chopped onions, green chillies, and tomatoes, giving the kitchen that classic South Indian touch. Seconds later, he carefully spooned idli batter into greased moulds and placed them in the steamer.

While the idlis were cooking, he blended the tomato mixture with peanuts to create a yummy chutney.
He didn't stop there. He also prepared chai for his lady love, adding tea bags to hot water, crushing ginger with a mortar and pestle, and finally pouring in milk to complete the perfect cup.
Skip to the sweetest part of the reel, he put together a plate with the idlis and chutney, and walked to his wife, who was relaxing on the couch. He handed her the hot cup of tea with a smile, and she gratefully accepted the meal, clearly touched by his thoughtful gesture.
Internet reacts
Viewers couldn’t get enough. “Damn. He puts every Indian husband to shame,” one user commented, reflecting how the video breaks the stereotype of only women doing household chores, much like films such as The Great Indian Kitchen.
The video has quickly gone viral and received more than 35,000 likes.
