'Meri Wife Ko Chudail Ne Pakad Liya': Chennai Man Claims His 'Possessed' Spouse Started Speaking Fluent Tamil Without Learning Language | Free Pik

Chennai: A bizarre case from Chennai has left many baffled, wherein a car cleaner claimed that his wife, who has no knowledge of Tamil, suddenly began speaking the language fluently after allegedly being "possessed by a ghost."

The man, originally from Nepal, said he is now returning to his home country after months of failed medical and spiritual interventions.

The strange incident came to light when the man informed his employer, who later shared the story on X (formerly Twitter), that he needed a month-long leave to deal with a family emergency. Offering financial help, the employer was taken aback when the cleaner explained that his wife had been taken over by a spirit.

'Ghost Possession' or Something Else?

In his post, the employer explained how the cleaner told him that his wife, who suffers from a heart disease, had inexplicably begun speaking fluent Tamil over the past six months despite having no formal education in the language or exposure to it in their tightly-knit Nepali-speaking community in Chennai. Her sudden linguistic command seemed unnatural, even alarming, to those around her.

Desperate for answers, the man said he first turned to doctors at a government hospital, who were unable to provide a medical explanation. He then sought help at a nearby mosque, where rituals were carried out over two months. With no change in her condition, the imam finally advised him to return to Nepal for her safety.

Snake Incident Sparks Fear in Uttar Pradesh

In a separate unsettling event from Uttar Pradesh, a 25-year-old man in Meerut reportedly died after being repeatedly bitten by a cobra. Shockingly, witnesses claimed the snake lingered near the man’s body and continued attacking even after he was dead.

The unusual behaviour sparked superstitious fears among locals, with many calling it an act of “revenge.” However, experts have long maintained that snakes do not possess emotions like vengeance, and such interpretations remain without scientific backing.

These strange stories stirred debate online, with many calling for medical and psychological evaluations before attributing such events to supernatural causes.
