Kaiserbagh, Lucknow: In a heart-wrenching incident from Lucknow's Kaiserbagh, a 7-year-old boy died of electrocution while picking a cricket ball from an open transformer in the park. Locals and netizens are stunned due to the tragic death of the child and are blaming the administration for negligence towards such open death traps that especially in parks. The boy was playing cricket when he was sent to retrieve the ball from near the transformer. While picking up the ball, he lost his life due to electrocution.
Panic erupted among the people present near the park when the 7-year-old child lost his life due to an electric shock. Police arrived at the location soon after receiving the information. They took the body into custody and sent it for a postmortem.
Locals Blame Administrators
The disturbing video of locals gathering near the transformer and rescuing the deceased boy is going viral on the Internet. Netizens are blaming the administrators and accusing them of negligence regarding such open transformers in the kids' park. They have also demanded strict action against them.
