Kalyan: Heated Brawl Between On Duty Traffic Police And Bike Rider Amid Major Traffic Jam (VIDEO)

Kalyan: A shocking incident has erupted in Kalyan during a major traffic congestion on Kalyan-Shahad Road. A massive brawl broke out between an on-duty traffic cop named Sachin Ombase and a bike rider named Mayur Kene. The bike rider was allegedly driving on the wrong side amid a traffic jam, and the cop nabbed him. In response, the rider attacked the cop in a rage.

The viral video is making rounds on the Internet in which Mayur Kene can be seen holding the shirt collar of Sachin Ombase and abusing him in the middle of the road. The cop also returned the favor with punches, and the fight erupted. In a half-hour-long brawl, passersby intruded and stopped the fight.

According to the reports, an official complaint has been lodged at Mahatma Phule Police station, Kalyan against Mayur Kene. While, authorities are yet to make any official statment on the dispute. Locals have complained about frequent congestions on Kalyan-Shahad bridge and have demanded proper traffic management.

Another Road Rage Fight

Recently, on Thursday, June 19, another road rage fight occured between a BEST bus driver and passenger near CSMT station. A passenger assaulted and verbally abused a BEST bus driver near CSMT station for not opening the door of the bus.

Passenger Attacked BEST Bus Driver:

According to an eyewitness, the bus was stuck in heavy traffic just before reaching CSMT. A male passenger asked the driver to open the door so he could get off the bus in the middle of traffic. However, the driver refused. This led to a heated argument between the passenger and the driver. In the middle of the dispute, the passenger allegedly called the driver “badhir” and used abusive language at him.
