When you’re a two-year-old dog with "almost no friends," what do you do? If you're Elori, you throw yourself a birthday party and hope the world shows up.
In a heart-melting move that quickly caught attention both on the streets and online, Elori’s pet parents posted a note around their Berlin neighborhood, inviting people and pups to a birthday bash on Friday, April 25 at 5 PM. The recent celebration poster has now gone viral.
"Hi! I'm Elori, a 2-year-old dog with a big heart and almost no friends," it began.
The invitation was made it clear that the birthday party would have a dog cake, tail wags, and more.

Written in the voice of the pup herself, the note used barking words as if Elori was inviting people to its birthday. "Bark! Woof woof, tail wag, nom nom (Cake). Woooof! Come", the now-viral poster read along with a picture of the doggy.
The message worked better than anyone could’ve imagined.
As a result, he had 50 human and 30 dog guests show up! One of them even made him a birthday card.
On the big day, tails wagged and hearts melted.
Elori’s joyous celebration was captured in pictures as it turned into a full-blown party.
Photos from the event were later shared on Elori’s Instagram page, "Elori just turned 2!” the caption read. “The guest list included dogs, humans, and at least one pigeon who wasn’t invited but came anyway... Elori finally has friends now—we were starting to worry!”
