With Sinner overcoming the devastating loss in Paris to win the Wimbledon title, the 23-year-old said it's a dream to achieve the feat in front of his entire family.

"Only me and the people who are close to me know exactly what we have been through on and off the court, and it has been everything except easy. [It is] very emotional, even if I don't cry. To share this moment with my whole family here, it's the most amazing thing that could have happened to me."

Sinner is also the first Italian player in history to win the grass-court grand-slam title.
