Pakistan Shaheens openers Khawaja Mohammad Nafay and Yasir Khan were involved in a chaotic run-out during a limited-overs contest against Bangladesh A in Darwin, Australia at a Top end T20 game. In a video shared by 7cricket on X, Yasir was furious at Nafay not responding and threw his bat in anger, followed by hurling some words.
The incident occurred in the 12th over of the innings as Yasir wanted to hoick one out of the ground to the leg side but got nowhere near the middle of the bat. Although Nafay signalled Yasir not to run but the latter was halfway down the pitch before turning back. However, it was too late and the Bangladeshi keeper threw the ball to the bowler to run Yasir out.
Until that stage, both openers were going well, amassing 110 in 11 overs.
