Team India's batting star Virat Kohli was mobbed by fans for autograph and photos outside the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi as he tried to get into his car. In a video surfaced on social media, the 36-year-old was surrounded by plenty of fans as the star cricketer prepares for his first Ranji Trophy game in 12 years.

The Delhi-born cricketer's most recent Ranji Trophy fixture came in the 2012 edition when his side faced Uttar Pradesh. His scores of 14 and 43 went in vain as Uttar Pradesh, captained by Suresh Raina, won by six wickets.

Meanwhile, the right-handed batter will gear for the upcoming edition of the Champions Trophy with the three-game ODI series against England, beginning on February 6 in Nagpur. Kohli, who finished as the highest run-getter in the 2023 World Cup, will hope to replicate his heroics in the Champions Trophy, which will take place in the 50-over format.
The Men in Blue will open their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai.
