Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star batter Virat Kohli was seen grooving to 'Jhume Jo Pathaan' as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan requested him to do the step during the IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony at the Eden Gardens. In a video published by IPL on social media, the 36-year-old looked slightly awkward doing that step but did it anyway.
Shah Rukh, a co-owner of the Knight Riders, introduced Kohli on the stage by describing the veteran batter as the 'King of 22 Yards'. The Delhi-born cricketer has indeed established himself as one of the most prolific scorers not only in the IPL but also across international formats. He was also the Orange Cap holder in 2024, accumulating 741 runs in 15 matches.
