Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj was seen trying to pump up the crowd on Day 4 of the fifth and final Test against England at the Kia Oval in London. The right-arm speedster was seen gesturing the spectators, who were already energetic due and encouraging the players to produce some magic.

The home side had walked into the tea break with their noses well in front despite Harry Brook falling for a magnificent 111. Nevertheless, Joe Root was still in the crease unbeaten on 98 and got to the three-figure mark with a couple, scoring his 39th ton. It was after the dismissal of Jacob Bethell's dismissal that the Indian fans completely found themselves with a whole lot of energy and Siraj was trying to further up their noise.

Meanwhile, Root, who completed his 39th hundred, fell for 105, a few overs after Jacob Bethell as Prasidh Krishna nicked him off to behind the stumps as Dhruv Jurel took a sensational diving catch. England needed only 57 runs when they walked off to lunch but they came back with a renewed energy after a prolonged tea break.

England had begun the day at 50-1 in pursuit of a daunting target of 374. However, they collapsed to 106/3, with Ben Duckett (54) and Ollie Pope (27) returning to the pavilion. Nevertheless, Harry Brook launched a calculated counter-attack and stitched a potentially match-winning partnership of 195 with Root.

Brook was notably given a life when he was on 19 and went on to slam 111 before falling to Akash Deep. At the time of writing this, the players had gone off due to the intensity of rain increasing and the hosts still needed 35 more runs to win and their score stood at 339/6.
