Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, shared an beautiful post on Instagram after Rohit’s match-winning century in the second ODI against England on Sunday (February 9). India clinched a thrilling four-wicket victory at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. She posted a photo along with a heartfelt caption, expressing her joy. She wrote, “This one hit straight here (heart emoji).”

Chasing 305, Rohit reached his half-century in just 30 balls. He brought up his 32nd ODI century in the 26th over with a stylish six off Adil Rashid over long-off. In ODI history, only Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli have scored more centuries than Rohit Sharma.

This innings was particularly special for Rohit, as he had been facing criticism due to a rough patch in recent months. However, he stayed true to his natural game, played with confidence, and silenced his critics with a magnificent 119-run knock.

Rohit 's century was laced with 12 fours and seven sixes that set up India's four-wicket win over England. The win also giving the hosts an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match affair.

In video shared by BCCI, Rohit said, "This is what I am talking about. I mean, look, when people have played for a number of years and scored so many runs over the years… that means something,".

He added, "I've played this game for a long time now and I understand what is required of me. So it's just about going out there and doing your things and this was, what I did today was, one of my things. In my mind, it was just about doing things that I do, try and bat the way I do. I've been here long enough... one or two knocks is not going to change my mind and the way I bat. But (it was) just another day in the office,".
