Third Edition Of Indian Racing Carnival: Mumbai Racing Season To Culminate With A Grand Finale

As the Mumbai racing season draws to a close, an exciting grand finale is on the horizon, the third edition of the Indian Racing Carnival, sponsored by Mr. Zavaray S. Poonawalla & HPSL, is set to take place at the iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse on April 5 and 6.
The two-day carnival will feature thrilling races, with 20 top-tier horses from across the country competing for a massive prize pool of over ₹3.5 crore. A total of 14 multi-million races will take center stage, making it a spectacular send-off for the season.
Among the key highlights are the C.N. Wadia Gold Cup (Gr.2) powered by Zavaray S. Poonawalla, the Maharaja Sir Harisinghji Trophy (Gr.3) powered by HPSL, and the Zavaray S. Poonawalla Sprinters’ Challenge—all of which will have no entry fee or forfeit.

Adding to the excitement on the racing track, a special point-based championship will be held across 10 select races, with ₹1 lakh in prizes each for the champion owner, trainer, and jockey, while the champion stud farm will receive a prestigious trophy.
