Punjab Kings' seamer Arshdeep Singh was left stunned by Rajasthan Royals' opener Yashasvi Jaiswal's onslaught in the IPL 2025 clash on Sunday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In a video surfaced on social media, the left-arm seamer said 'Isne dhaaga hee khol diya' as he was bonding in a friendly manner with Jaiswal.
With 220 left to chase down for the Royals, they had to go from ball one and it's precisely what Jaiswal did. With Arshdeep known for making breakthroughs with the brand new ball, the left-handed batter stunned his fellow India teammate by hammering him for 22 runs in the opening over, consisting of four boundaries and a six. Arshdeep eventually finished with an eye-watering haul of 4-0-60-0. However, he ended up in the winning side despite Jaiswal's 25-ball 50.
Watch the video below as Arshdeep says:
"Bahut maara be. Dhaaga hee khol diya" (He smashed me black and blue)
In response, Jaiswal claimed:
"Maine bola tha isko ek din maarunga." (I told him I'll hit your deliveries for boundaries some day)
